In that case you ask for the price and ‘ negotiate the fare. For added security, consider using registered taxis associated with established companies, often with well-maintained vehicles and trained drivers. You can call for one or use ride-hailing apps.

While taxis are generally safe, exercise standard precautions. Avoid unmarked or unregistered vehicles especially at night, and share your ride details with a trusted contact when using ride-hailing apps. Always look for a reasonably modern vehicle with a clearly displayed license
